Following the approval of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) Accelerated Funding for school feeding program in 15 districts, Save the Children working with the Ministry of Education will be facilitating the procurement and delivery of maize, beans and other food items to Schools in the districts.

Save the Children is therefore inviting reliable suppliers for the provision of high-quality Maize and Beans. We are looking for bulk suppliers capable of meeting the specified quantity, quality, and delivery timelines as outlined below.

Requirements:

  • Product: Maize and Beans
  • Quantity Needed: Maize 12,892.98 metric tons and Beans 2148.83 metric tons
  • Quality Standards: Maize: Grade A, moisture content ≤13.5%, clean and free from impurities
  • Beans: preferably kabulangeti/Sugar Beans Grade A, moisture content ≤14%, free from contaminants and debris
  • Delivery Location: Chongwe, Chikankata, Choma, Kalomo, Livingstone, Mazabuka, Pemba, Kaoma, Luampa, Lukulu, Mitete, Nkeyema, Chisamba, Kapiri Mposhi, Kabwe
  • Delivery Timeline:

Supplier Eligibility:

  • Must have a proven track record in maize and Beans supply
  • Must provide quality certification for the maize and Beans
  • Ability to meet delivery deadlines and standards
  • Must have all relevant legal and trade documents

2. Quotation for Maize and Beans Supply (including transportation cost)
3. Quality Assurance Certificate
4. Past Performance Records
