Following the approval of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) Accelerated Funding for school feeding program in 15 districts, Save the Children working with the Ministry of Education will be facilitating the procurement and delivery of school feeding materials to Schools in the districts.

Save the Children is therefore inviting reliable suppliers for the provision of transportation services of the procured school feeding materials. We are looking for bulk suppliers capable of meeting the specified delivery timelines and quantities as outlined below.

Requirements:

• Transportation of school feeding materials to 1666 schools
• Quantities: cooking oil 20Ltr x 7040, hand wash facilities x 230, Plates x 84000, 18L to 20L Pots x 272 and hand wash liquid soap 1 x 32 boxes.
• Delivery Location: Chongwe, Chikankata, Choma, Kalomo, Livingstone, Mazabuka, Pemba, Kaoma, Luampa, Lukulu, Mitete, Nkeyema, Chisamba, Kapiri Mposhi, Kabwe
• Delivery Timeline: 14 days

Supplier Eligibility:

• Must have a proven track record in bulk transportation services and must show evidence of owning fleet or having successfully managed 3rd party transporters
• Ability to meet delivery deadlines and standards
• Must have all relevant legal and trade documents

Application Process:

Interested suppliers should submit their bids, which must include:

1. Company Profile

2. Company Registration Documents

3. Valid Tax Clerance Certificate

4. Quotation for transportation up to the last mile. Kindly note that most of the schools are in far flung areas that require transshipping from usually 30-ton truck onto smaller vehicles or applicable transport modality.

5. The transporter must be able to arrange and meet all temporary warehousing costs in the various districts, if need be, where the items will be stored before the final mile distribution.

6. Past Performance Records and references of at least three (03) clients

7. Willingness to commit to save the children mandatory policies on safeguarding, fraud, bribery and corruption, sustainability, Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery, Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), and Anti-Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying policies
