Invitation to Submit Expressions of interest at University of Zambia
LEASE AND DEVELOPMENT OF UNZA LAND AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ZAMBIA-UNZA/EOI/REG/2023 The University of Zambia invites Expressions of Interest from interested developers for the Lease and development of the following pieces of land:

1. The land southwest of UNZA Great East Road Campus
Area A-First portion of land along East Park Mall road from Muvi TV (1arce)-(0.4ha)
Area B-Second portion of land along East Park Mall road from Muvi TV-(1.6ha)
Area C-Third portion of land along East Park Mall road from Muvi TV - (2.0ha)
Area D - Fourth portion of land along road to Oryx Service Station next to third portion - (3.0ha)
2. The Land within Marshlands Village fronting the Great East Road (8,000m2)
3. The land opposite ATDC between Milling Plant and Chinese Memorial Park Prop. 1- First portion of land fronting Great East Road and behind the Milling Plant - (9.0ha) Prop. 2-Second portion of land fronting Great East Road and behind Chinese Memorial park - (24.0ha)
4. Remainder of land at UNZA Nursery in Burkley near Linda Compound Area 1-Land comprising offices, works quarter and seedlings nursery - (5.5ha) Area 2-Land comprising workshop, Manager's and other quarters - (4.0ha)
Area 3-Land comprising other quarters and Orchard - (5.0ha)
Potential applicants are required to indicate their preferred pieces of land and development proposals.
The Evaluation Criteria will include the following:
The Response has been correctly signed
The response is valid for at least a period of 90 Days
Valid Tax Clearance if incorporated in Zambia or Where the Respondent Relevant organisation, Key Contractor or Designated Member is not yet operating in Zambia proof of "good standing' with the relevant taxation authority in its country of origin.
Project experience in land development with a minimum experience of five (5) years of managing such projects
Construction experience on Eligible Projects in the development of Commercial Facilities for a minimum of five (5) years! experience.
A site visit will be conducted on 13th April, 2023 starting at 10:00hrs. Interested developers are expected to gather at Great East Road Campus at the Office of the Resident Engineer who will coordinate the Site Visit.
Submission Procedure
Expressions of Interest for the "LEASE AND DEVELOPMENT OF UNZA LAND" must be submitted before or by Thursday. 4th May, 2023 at 10:00 hours in the Tender Box situated on the 4" Floor next to the Senate Chamber of the Central Administration Building for the attention of the:
