Introduction

ActionAid Zambia (AAZ) is part of ActionAid Global Federation, sharing common values and aims to drive social change towards a just, equitable and sustainable world. AAZ works with the marginalized, excluded women and young people, their organizations, and social movements to address the structural causes of social injustice, gender inequality and poverty.

ActionAid Zambia now invites interested eligible Contractors to submit bids for the followings Projects.

A.   Drilling and installation of water reticulation system in the following schools & RHC based in Senga District.

I. Solar Pump at Naminamba Primary school

II. Solar pump at Kasanga primary school

III. Solar pump at Mutitmya primary school

IV. Solar pump at Kapumfi RHC

V. Upgrading of the mono pump at Mpande RHC to a mechanized water system

VI. Upgrading of the mono pump at Chikunta Primary school to a mechanized water system.

 Eligible contractors to submit the following:

• Company Profile
• Certificate of registration with Engineering institute of Zambia
• ZRA Tax Clearance Certificate
• Full contract quotation
• Work plan
• National Construction Council Certificate Grade 5 or 6
• Must be Registered with WARMA
• Certificate of site visit

Site visits will be on 30th October 2023. For location of schools contact The District Education Board Secretary (DEBs) Office (+260 977852598) in Senga Hill for proposed projects under Ministry of Education and respectively for Rural Health Centers Senga District Health Office (SDHO) (+260 973026029). Ensure to log in the Log-books for the Schools and RHC when conducting site visits.

The submissions must be sent in both soft and hard copies: soft copy to ActionAid Lusaka on Email address info.zambia@actionaid.org. Hard copies to be submitted at ActionAid Northern Hub Office, eastern direction from Mbala Historical round-about third house from Vision fund on the left-hand side along the gravel road heading to U-Chat Academy Private School. The Documents should be received by Thursday 1st  November 2023 10hrs.
