JOB DETAILS:
MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:
We are looking to hire a young and energatic Junior accountant with some accounting experience.
The ideal candidate should be able to perform the below functions:
VAT preparation
• Generate VAT reports from the system and match to the physical purchase invoices Clean the VAT reports from the system and make it to ZRA required upload
• format for VAT returns
• Verify expenses for VAT purposes and make sure all the monthly expense invoices have been captured in the system (Tally).
• Compute and file VAT returns
• Pass VAT Journals in the system (Tally)

Payment preparation and Journals
• Receive invoices for expenses and post in the System (Tally) on a daily basis
• Prepare payments for expenses on a daily basis
• Pass journals for all the payments made on a daily basis
• Reconcile expense accounts on a monthly basis

Qualifications Required
• Diploma in accounting
• 3 years working experience in accounts

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 96

Level of Education: Associate Degree
