Overview
My client, a Chisamba based day and boarding school is looking for an enthusiastic, single, energetic and dynamic Junior Primary Teacher – Grade 3 – to join their staff for JANUARY 2023.
The school provides a healthy environment for excellent academic achievement, whilst fostering confidence and independent thinking.
Please send your cv if you have the following criteria;
• Relevant qualification – Bachelors degree
• Cambridge Primary curriculum experience
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Demonstrated professional behavior, including discretion, judgement and integrity
• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience

You will be required to;
• To plan, develop and deliver high quality lessons using different methods and approaches
• Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate
• Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order amongst the students
• Observe and evaluate students performance, behavior, social development
• Monitoring learners progress, recording, reporting and accountability
• Support individual learning
• To maintain and build upon the teacher standards set in the Cambridge curriculum and the school
• Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling
• To be an engaged and active member of the School and all its co-curricular and sporting activities
• To engage in the School’s ethos of developing tomorrow’s adults who will be academically and emotionally prepared for the challenges of the future. To inspire a love of and respect for their natural environment, and the importance of conservation for future generations.
