Job Title: Lab Systems Coordinator

Job Description
• Responsible for the national quantification and forecasting of laboratory equipment, diagnostic tools, reagents and lab consumables; as such he will be the NRL focal point for the CPDS process, this also includes being responsible for the management of UNITAID donations to Rwanda.
• Reports every week on work load problems at NRL to ensure a rapid turn around of tests for client sites.
• Reports on possible or predictable reagents’ stock out and coordinate with NRL and MPDD staff’s to solve any problem on results’ deliver time.
• Addresses system issues as they arise with a view to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the national laboratory network.
• Support where necessary training efforts related to the laboratory system with a view to building the decentralized system.
• Reports regularly on work progress, on the national laboratory system situation. In collaboration with all unit in the NRL :
• The laboratory system coordinator will provides technical expertise in laboratory supply chain systems of Rwanda, with a particular focus on quantification and forecasting
• provides guidance to the logistics manager based in MPDD
• works closely with CHI and other partners of the NRL to ensure coordination and mutual support
Job Profile
Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology or Biomedical science or Medical laboratory (C),Master’s in biomedical science, Public health or any related field (A), Having completed SLMTA trainings (C) with 2 Years experience training SLMTA( A), Knowledge of NRL structure and its role in the laboratory network (A), 5. Good writing skills, Good computer skills ( excel and power point)
