JOB DETAILS:
Better World Innovations (BWI) is a social enterprise focusing at empowering small-scale farmers in climate smart agriculture to adapt to climate stresses. BWI empowers farmers especially vulnerable groups i.e women and youths with climate smart farming skills and advisory support and promotes the use of clean and renewable energy in smart agriculture for sustainable food systems. BWI supports farmers with appropriate climate sensitive farming inputs and a ready market.
Better World Innovations is looking for a part-time lead consultant to lead an anticipated market analysis study in clean cooking innovations (stoves). The Lead consultant will be expected to heat a team at BWI in market Scoping and Outlining Recommendations – where a detailed market assessment of the clean cooking market in up to 6 countries will be conducted in Zambia (in depth) plus Kenya, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda with a first draft report outlining conclusions and recommendations. The scope of work will be divided into two phases with a total duration of 10 months. .

Required qualifications:
• Master’s degree and above in marketing and related qualifications
Required experiences:
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in market analysis and studies with an advantage in clean energy and clean cooking innovations (stoves) will be a plus
• Traceable consultancy experience with excellent record in writing detailed professional study reports
• Excellent background in proposal writing which have been funded
• A multinational consultancy experienced is an added advantage
Prerequisite;
• Must be a registered member of a professional Association such as the Zambia Institute of Marketing e.t.c.
