JOB DETAILS:

Responsibilities: To teach, research, supervise master and doctoral students, and carry out other academic-related tasks.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 Certificate or its equivalent;
• Bachelor’s degree in humanities or sciences with a merit from a reputable University.
• Master’s degree in any field from a reputable University,
• An earned PhD in any field from a reputable University
• Proof of research experience and publications in peer-reviewed journals in the business field is an added advantage;
• Possess at least six (6) years of teaching, research, and postgraduate student supervising experience in higher education or research institute post PhD qualification.

Key qualities and skills:

• Self-motivated, resourceful, team player, and intellectually strong
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Must be articulate and have strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess research proposals and theses of various fields of study offered to students up to PhD level of study.
• Must show evidence of publishing in peer-reviewed papers on the subject of specialization.
• Ability to engage students through interactive and engaging activities and discussions
• Ability to utilize technology necessary for teaching including but not limited to: Office 365, Teams, Moodle, library, and other online resources.
• Ability to produce and update modules, and other teaching materials for postgraduate students.
• Ability to uphold the university’s commitment to inclusive excellence in a diverse educational community.
