Our Client in the Banking sector seeks a Legal Counsel with five (5) years’ relevant experience gained in private practice (law firm) combined with experience in parastatal or other private company/corporation. Commercial experience an added advantage. 5 to 6 years minimum post bar qualification experience

• Strong understanding of key practice areas including banking and financial services law, employment law and dispute resolution
• Practical experience of drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements
• Proven advocacy skills and civil/commercial litigation experience
• Sound understanding of corporate governance requirement
Candidate specification
Experience: 5 years plus
Education Level: Degree
Qualifications: LLB degree, Advocate of the High Court of Zambia with a valid practicing certificate.
Software: MS Office
Knowledge Of: Banking and financial services law
Skills To: Decision making, Negotiation, Problem solving, Time management
Ability To: Articulate and communicate effectively, multitask and result oriented
Other Requirements: Valid Practicing Certificate
