Job description
The key responsibilities for this role include but not limited to the following:
• Influences the design of primary and secondary controls within the FinCo;
• Drives the implementation and automation of Revenue Assurance controls aimed at minimizing the principal risk of financial leakages;
• Ensures an optimal future operating state of the Revenue Assurance` control environment through continuous control variance reviews and refinements;
• Assists the business with all assurance requirements including regulatory and tax audit;
• Facilitates all Revenue Assurance risk assessments and business requirements analysis of organization change relating to Commercial Change Management including new projects;
• Ensures that new emerging risks are identified, controls are designed and implemented to mitigate the identified risk,
• Drives awareness of the benefits of Revenue Assurance across the business units;
• Participates in decision-making, design, development and implementation of new propositions, processes, policies, change initiatives, technologies and/or business verticals;
• Understands and aggregates revenue assurance activities across the business and ensure they are working effectively;
• Escalates issues that will result in severe time, scope, productivity, and cost or resource impact.
Candidate Requirements
• Grade 12 certificate with 5 credit or better of which English and Mathematics are a must;
• 4-year tertiary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Science or Business Finance, ACCA or equivalent;
• Professional Certification in Auditing Courses will be an added advantage (CISA/CISM/CRISK) MBA or A post graduate qualification is advantageous;
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in telecommunication industry with at least 2 of these in Revenue Assurance/Audit;
• Strong understanding of the Fintech revenue cycle, processes, procedures, network elements and systems involved.
