JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for a brilliant Manager/ Sr. Manager Accounts to join our team for our Mining Business Segment in Lusaka, Zambia
In this role, the candidate have to perform for the following Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities
• Meet financial objectives in accordance with the organization. Establish, maintain and analyze fiscal records for documenting transactions.
• Manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
• Auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. should have experienced with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.
• Manage all accounting transactions, prepare budget forecasts. Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Publish financial statements in time. Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings and audits.
• Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Ensure timely bank payments. Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets, Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity. Audit financial transactions and documents
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary. Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls

Qualification Experience & skills
• Graduate or Postgraduate in Commerce/ MBA-Finance
• Working knowledge of MS Office, accounting software, & related accounting databases. Conversant with ERP, Tally, SAP or similar accounting program.
• Must be an expert in bookkeeping, accounting best practices & principles, along with in-depth knowledge of standard accounting, rules, policies, & regulations.
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in accounting/finance
• Works interdependently, with little supervision for most assignments.
