MARKETING MANAGER

As part of the growth strategy, Phoenix of Zambia assurance, is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals to join the dynamic Management Team as MARKETING MANAGER.

Phoenix of Zambia Assurance company is part of Phoenix Assurance Group operating in various countries in Africa including Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia and Eswatini. With over 100 years’ experience in Africa, Phoenix Assurance Group is uniquely poised to provide outstanding risk and insurance services to its clients.

Skills and Responsibilities

The person will be responsible for leading the Marketing Division of the Company and will direct and coordinate budget planning and execution, all the distribution channels, including brokers and agents and assist the Leadership Team in advertising, public relations and all communication activities. The person will also supervise the business development activity including quotations and underwriting of the policies as per the Company guidelines. The person should be able to work as a team player and submit and present reports to CEO and the Board.

Qualifications and work experience

The ideal candidate should have at least five years’ experience in the short- term insurance and a proven track record in Broker and Agency management. The person should be a Graduate and should possess minimum COP qualifications in insurance. Additional insurance qualifications (or progress) would be an added advantage.
