JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marketing and Dispatch Officer to join our milling company. The Marketing and Dispatch Officer will play a crucial role in promoting our products, managing customer relationships, and ensuring efficient dispatch and delivery of orders. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in marketing and logistics within the milling or agricultural industry.

Responsibilities:
Marketing and Promotion:
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our milling company’s products, with a focus on maize bran.
Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitors’ activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Coordinate and participate in industry exhibitions, trade shows, and other marketing events.
Prepare marketing materials such as brochures, product catalogs, and presentations.
• Order Processing and Dispatch:
• Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Prepare delivery schedules and coordinate with logistics partners to arrange for timely dispatch.
Monitor delivery status and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
Resolve any delivery issues or discrepancies in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and providing product information.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Provide prompt and effective customer support, ensuring excellent service delivery.
• Sales Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare regular sales reports, analyzing sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
Identify areas for improvement and propose strategies to optimize sales and customer satisfaction.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to make informed recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in marketing and logistics, preferably within the milling or agricultural industry.
Strong knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and resolve delivery issues.
Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
