Zambia's #1 Fish Yalelo is seeking a highly motivated and energetic self-starter with experience in working in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods(FMCG) Industry to work as a Warehouse Shift-Controller.
The Warehouse Shift-Controller will be managing inventory, coordinating operations, and ensuring an accurate database is maintained.
The right Fit will 1. Ensures effective utilization of warehouse areas and assures proper loading, unloading, stocking and safekeeping of items to maintain the quality of finished goods in order to prevent product damage and avoid occurrence of pilferage, accidents and occupational Hazards.
2. Effectively monitors flow of goods and implements First – in – First – Out (FIFO) method in the use of raw materials and in dispatching of finished goods.
3. Ensures accuracy of product inventories against system records by ensuring cycle counts are conducted on a periodic basis following appropriate guidelines released by Finance department.
4. Evaluates and analyses inventory variance.
5. Ensures the integrity and completeness of all inventory control and warehousing records and manuals.
6. Ensures safe, timely and cost-effective maintenance of warehouse equipment, fixtures and fittings.
7. Develops and implements business process initiatives to optimize departmental operations in accordance with overall business objectives.
The Essentials: 1. BSc/BA in Supply chain business or relevant field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in similar roles managing teams and leadership.
3. Experience in FMCG Industry will be an added advantage.
4. An eye for detail and proficient in Excel.
5. Meeting Supply requirements is demanding, and the successful candidates must be available to their team on weekends (except while on leave).

The Modern Trade and Exports Coordinator will support in assessing viability of regional markets and implementing route-to-market to expand Yalelo’s footprint. He/she will also support in managing relationships with key customers in Modern Trade.
Exports 1. Coordinates with customers to ensure that all of their needs are met throughout the shipping process.
2. Ensures customers are fully informed of the progress of their shipments.
3. Develops and maintain effective working relationships with key customer to develop more business opportunities.
4. Manages the export process from start to finish.
Modern Trade & Forecourts 1. Ensures that Modern Trade and Forecourt Outlets achieve/exceed their monthly targets.
2. Acts as a main contact for existing and new customers.
3. Ensures complaints are followed up and that satisfactory solutions are obtained for both the customer and Yalelo.
The Essentials: 1. BSc/BA in business/Marketing & Sales or relevant field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in similar roles.
3. Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
4. An entrepreneurial mindset with solid business development skills
5. High problem-solving ability
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
7. Strong negotiation skills.
