JOB DETAILS:
The Job Description is as Follows;
• Optimize operational efficiencies and profitability through minimized operational cost and effective labour, equipment and material handling.
• Discusses short term and long-term drilling plans with the client and compile monthly production presentation.
• Ensure that legal (Log books and appointments) and statutory requirements are enforced and observed at all times.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through effective diamond drilling, core transportation, core handling and marking, borehole plugging and grouting, borehole survey, valve installation and technical reporting.
• Maintain effective communication/liaison with service departments and other mining sections to ensure sustainable operations.
• Discuss machine maintenance priorities with the Maintenance team.
• Ensure correct and effective planning schedule for machine movements.
• Comply with and implement established company policies and procedures and ensure legal and statutory compliance.
• Offer technical guide on the types of drill bits and chemicals to be used on various rock conditions in addition to effective machine alignment, anchorage and lubrication.
• Participate in recommending, hiring (interviewing), evaluations and promotions of labour at the site.
• Promote adherence to safety, health and environment procedures, identify unsafe and hazardous
