We are looking for 2 experienced and qualified MMU operators.
Duties and responsibilities are listed below:
- Transport raw materials or goods where needed.
- Assist in blasting activities (loading/unloading Stemming).
- Responsible for the condition of assigned vehicle
- Emulsion manufacturing and related activities (MMU).
- Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas.
- Support maintenance personnel.
- Daily inspection of equipment.
- Responsible for the load being transported.
- Daily verification of the explosives truck.
- Keep track of raw material inputs and finished product outputs.
- Responsible for the quality control of the final product. Verify the Implementation and compliance with the Bases of Safety (BOS).
- Ensure implementation and compliance with the Occupational Health, Safety, Environment, and Safety Program (SHES).
- Comply with all the regulations established in SHES, BOS, national and international standards, and other applicable rules.
- Report near-misses, incidents, and accidents of any kind.
- Adhere to best driving practices and traffic laws
- Maintain good relationships and communication with public oversight entities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Must have completed secondary school education .
- Tertiary education in mechanics or related course.
- Minimum of 2 years in the position or similar; and/or knowledge in the area.
- Must be fully trained in blasting and possess a blasting license
- Must have a driver’s license and trained in dangerous goods.
- Must be proactive and fully aware of dynamics around Explosives.
