Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY:
The Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator is responsible for the collection and management of quality data and providing the analysis of the data from HIV Comprehensive Care (for ART and HTS) components of the program). He/she is directly responsible for training and support supervision of data managers and program- site teams to ensure that quality data is collected, stored, processed and disseminated for management levels action.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinates program data management activities relating to HTS and ART services including routine data collection, compilation, analysis, and dissemination.
• Participate in developing and dissemination of data collection tools and databases that will facilitate proper records management for the designated AHF Rwanda supported sites and Partners.
• Performs data quality audits and assessments on a regular basis for designated sites and partners.
• Participates in the development, monitoring and communicating program targets.
• Compile Quarterly and Annual Reports and ensures timely submission of reports to all key stakeholders.
• Monitors and maintains the privacy of all data/information collected and entered into all computers.
• Ensures that all data/information is backed up on a regular basis (daily/weekly/ monthly) basis to ensure safety of data.
• Participates in preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly program data reports for AHF Rwanda supported sites.
• Troubleshooting and management of computer systems including Open MRS.
• Participates in training of health care workers and sites data managers in data collection, management and utilization
• Participate in operational and scientific research activities especially data collection tool development, data collection, cleaning and analysis.
• Conducts regular support supervision activities to designated supported programsites and partners.
• Develops an operation work plan and budget for monitoring and data management activities in line with the regional work plans and budgets.
• Other duties as assigned
  SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervises and mentors Data managers at the various health facilities on AHF reporting
  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics or other related fields from a recognized university with more than 3 years’ experience in a field directly related to HIV/AIDS and specified responsibilities.
• Experience working in healthcare delivery systems
• Flexible, proactive and able to organize work independently as well as work in a team
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondences in English.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic statistical data and effectively present information to colleagues and management or public groups
  LOCATION: Musanze, but with frequent travel to AHF supported districts and sites
