JOB DETAILS:
Our client a digital Marketing company is looking for a Multimedia Journalist who will be responsible for capturing visual content and editing videos, researching, writing, for multiple platforms
REPORTING STRUCTURE
Reporting To: Director
Supervision Of: None
Interacts With: All .

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Shoots video and still photos to illustrate stories and create high quality video content
• Edits, or assists in editing, videos for all multimedia platforms
• Receives assignment or evaluate content and develop story and content ideas.
• Gathers and verifies factual information regarding stories through interview, observation, and research.
• Assist content producer in preparing broadcasts
• Assist marketing staff in preparing sales strategy
• Report, write, capture quality visual content, edit and produce stories for multiple platforms on deadline, such as Internet and digital channels

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
• Experience: 2 years
• Education Level; Degree
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism or related degree or equivalent years of experience
• Software: Microsoft Package, Graphic Design
• Equipment: Computer, Camera and Job related equipment
• Knowledge Of: Graphic Design systems knowledge in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator & experience in use of broadcast quality camera equipment
• Skills To: Edit video on Adobe Premiere editing systems, or similar equipment and Strong broadcast and AP style writing skills
• Ability To: Communicate effectively without bias
• Other Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 30 Kgs, valid driver’s license and good driving record is an added advantage, Proficient at posting content to various websites
