JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for a skilled staff with at least 2 years of experience and a proven track record of the following positions:

1. POSITION: ELECTRICIAN
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
• Monitor and ensure a safe supply of power
• Ensure safe connections of power to buildings
• Run the generators as directed
• Replace, fit and monitor light fittings, sockets, switches and other related electrical items
• Service and maintain electrical equipment
• Repair faults correctly and advise on safe practices
• Use the correct equipment and tools to carry out tasks and maintain safety at all times
• Communicate all concerns to the Site Manager
• Carry out any other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications
• EIZ registered
• Proven experience working in a maintenance role
• Certificate in Electrics (Diploma or higher will be an added advantage)
• Requires flexibility and understanding that all maintenance staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of work to meet the goals of the Site team.

2. POSITION: WELDER
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform welding duties to produce various finished products.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure welding meets industry standards and specifications.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines while working in hazardous work environments.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within scheduled deadlines.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and new welding techniques.

Qualifications
• Welding experience and knowledge of welding techniques
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces.
• Diligence and ability to inspect welds for quality and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with welding equipment and tools.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow safety protocols.
• Grade 12 certificate and a valid certificate in welding.
• A minimum of 2 years experience as a welder.
• Exceptional knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs

3. POSITION: BRICKLAYER.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
• To offer exceptional construction works to lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, sewers, and other structures.
• Able to mixing mortar, spreading it on bricks or blocks using a trowel, and then shaping the wet mixture with a chisel before it dries.
• Plan and lay bricks, stone, or other masonry units to form structures, walls, partitions, arches, or fire places according to blueprint specifications.
• Spread mortar on bed of unit being laid with trowel and force it into joints between units with jointer.
• Erect scaffolding or set up ladders for assembling vertical rows of masonry units.
• Clean work area of debris at end of each workday.
• To lay bricks, blocks and other masonry in accordance with blueprints and other specifications.
• To mortar joints by hand or machine.
• To clean up job sites after work is completed.
• To perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment used on the job site.
• To operate power tools and other machinery as needed.

Qualifications
• At least a high school
• Certificate diploma or equivalent.
• Experience programs will be an added advantage.

4. POSITION: PLUMBER
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems.
• Assemble, install, and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, and gas lines.
• Replace or repair defective pipes, fittings, and fixtures, such as faucets, toilets, and water heaters
• Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues to determine the best course of action.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan plumbing installations.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations when carrying out plumbing projects.
• Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes using hand and power tools.
• Weld and solder pipes and fittings to create watertight joints.
• Select appropriate materials and equipment for plumbing projects.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential plumbing problems.

• Create detailed topographic maps and layouts of the construction area.
• Analyze survey data to identify potential challenges and inform project planning.
• Establish property boundaries and land ownership to ensure compliance with zoning regulations and property laws.
• Mark boundary lines and set property corner markers.
• Work with engineers and architects to translate design plans and blueprints into physical layouts on the construction site.
• Set benchmarks, reference points, and control lines for accurate construction positioning.
• Ensure that buildings, roads, utilities, and other structures are constructed in the correct locations and elevations.
• Monitor construction work to verify that it aligns with design specifications.

• Ensure that rebar meets quality and safety standards.

• Secure rebar in position using wire, tie wire, clips, or other fastening methods.
• Maintain proper spacing, alignment, and overlap of rebar to achieve the desired structural strength.
• Inspect rebar materials for defects or damage and report any issues to supervisors.
