Chreso University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacancies under the Nursing Department at its City Campus in Lusaka:

1. LECTURER – CHEMISTRY (One position – City Campus)
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Master of Science in Chemistry from a reputable University
• BSc in Natural Sciences or related field
• Five (O) levels including mathematics and English
• Three (3) Years’ teaching experience at a University
• Valid practicing license with the TCZ

2. LECTURER – PHYSICS (Two positions City and Copperbelt Campuses).
• Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Master of Science in Physics from a reputable University
· BSc in Natural Sciences or related fieldFive (O) levels including mathematics and English
• Three (3) Years’ teaching experience at a University
• Valid practicing license with the TCZ

3 LECTURER – PSYCHIATRIC NURSING (One position- Copperbelt Campus)
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Master of Science in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing
• BSc in Nursing
• Five (O) levels including mathematics and English
• Three (3) Years’ teaching experience at the University
· Minimum of eighteen (18) months clinical experience.Clinical teaching diploma is an added advantage
• Valid Nurses Practicing (License) Certificate with the NMCZ

4. LECTURER – MEDICAL AND SURGICAL NURSING (MSN) (One position Campus)
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Master of Science in Clinical Nursing
• BSc in Nursing
• Three (3) Years’ teaching experience at a University
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months clinical experience
• Five (O) levels including mathematics and English
• Valid Nurses Practicing Certificate (License) with the NMCZ

5. LECTURER – MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH NURSING (Two positions -City and Copperbelt Campuses)
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Master of Science in Midwifery and Women’s Health, or equivalent.
• BSc in Nursing/Midwifery
• Advanced Diploma Midwifery is an added advantage
• Five (O) levels including mathematics and English
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of clinical experience
• Three (3) Years’ teaching experience at a University
• Valid Nurses Practicing Certificate (License) with the NMCZ

6. LECTURER – PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING (PHN) (One position Copperbelt Campus)
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Master of Science in Public Health Nursing or equivalent
• BSc in Nursing or Public Health
• Five (O) levels including mathematics and English
• Three (3) Years’ teaching experience at a University
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of clinical experience
• Valid Nurses Practicing Certificate (License) with the NMCZ

7. LECTURER – PAEDIATRICS AND PAEDIATRIC NURSING (One position Copperbelt Campus)
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Master of Science in Paediatric Nursing or equivalent
• BSc in Nursing/Paediatric Nursing of equivalent
• Advanced Diploma in Paediatric Nursing is an added advantage
• Five (O) levels including mathematics and English
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of clinical experience
• Three (3) Years’ teaching experience at a University
• Valid Nurses practicing license with the GNC

8. CLINICAL INSTRUCTORS (Two positions- Copperbelt Campus)
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• BSc in Nursing
• Diploma in Nursing/ Nursing with Midwifery/ Nursing with Operational Theatre Nursing
• Advanced Diploma in clinical teaching is an advantage
• Five (O) levels including mathematics and English
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of clinical experience
• Valid Nurses Practicing Certificate (License) with the NMCZ
