JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
To diagnose and treat obstetric/gynaecological conditions as well as advise patients on birth control and fertility matters.

Responsibilities
• Diagnose and treat various obstetric/gynaecological conditions and disorders.
• Conduct thorough obstetric/gynaecological examinations, assessments and procedures.
• Perform surgeries, including but not limited to, hysterectomies, laparoscopic procedures, and other gynaecological surgeries.
• Provide prenatal care, monitor pregnancies, and assist in childbirth.
• Educate patients on women’s health issues and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in clinical research and contribute to the hospital’s academic activities.

Qualifications
• Medical degree with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
• Valid HPCZ medical license in Zambia.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Obstetrics/Gynaecology.
• Proficiency in performing obstetrical/gynaecological surgeries.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to academic and clinical excellence.
• Demonstrated research experience is a plus.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
