The manufacturing intern is expected to learn technical understanding and mastery of process control. The candidate to learn and understand the integrity of the Line Event Data System and is responsible for capturing data analytics of line losses. He/She must participate and learn troubleshooting / problem solving and decision making. A majority of the individual’s time will be spent on the operating floor working with the teams and learn to understand following technologies in SMD; a Protos Cigarette Maker or a GD Cigarette Packer or a KDF Filter Maker, including learning basic machine settings and learning basic maintenance on the same in SMD in order to consistently achieve set quality parameters and the capability of the people in their area.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
• We expect you to have graduated from the University within the last 2 years with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering
• If you have experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment would be an added advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively work in a team and communicate with the team members, managers and other stakeholders from other sections/departments
• We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, dependable and with a can-do attitude; open minded, collaborative, willing to learn and share ideas
