OBJECTIVE

Creative is seeking qualified and experienced local fixers/technical consultants to support an upcoming education opportunity in Zambia.

Technical Inputs

• Assist Creative’s capture team in securing meetings with local key informants and potential partners including conducting and documenting key informant interviews with private sector and local government actors to assess/obtain a sense of stakeholders’ expectations from such interventions.
• Support coordination of meetings with key contacts and support coordination of travel outside Lusaka to meet with stakeholders as needed
• Provide information on the donor-funded education landscape and contribute to the development of Creative’s win themes and competitive strategy in accordance with the assessment.
• Participate in capture debrief and technical design sessions with the Creative HQ team and review drafts/give input on the technical approach.
• Provide specific input to technical approach as needed/assigned by TLW and PM.

Cost and Operational Inputs

• Identify appropriate cost data (i.e., office rent, IT service costs, real estate firms, vehicle/car services costs, etc.) to inform the budgeting process of the proposal during capture.
• Participate in budgeting and costing discussions with Creative’s cost preparer/pricer and operations and security teams as needed

Results and/or Deliverables

The consultant will have supported the capture team in strategic information gathering in-country to fill information gaps and inform proposal design.

• Collect and provide the team with key contacts to in-country stakeholders and partners as requested by the TLW and/or PM
• Assist in setting up meetings with key stakeholders and partners in country
• Provide fully completed Operations and Costing Tool with populated information on operating and cost data to inform the cost proposal
• Contribute to capture trip planning, participate in capture trip meetings, and other capture-related efforts;
• Provide typed meeting notes, key takeaways, and suggested next steps if and when requested by the TLW and/or PM;
• Participate in capture debrief and technical design sessions if and when requested by the TLW and/or PM; and
• Provide technical inputs for the writing of the proposal if and when requested by the TLW and/or PM.
