JOB DETAILS:
Panel Beater Job Description and Requirements:
• Assess and repair damage to cars and trucks, and repaints them if needed.
• Checking vehicles for exterior or frame damage, carrying out any necessary repairs to restore the vehicle's condition, and mending scratches, dents and other damage to the paintwork.
• Full body vehicle repairs including the chassis, as well as any structural car damage.
• Auto body mechanic, replacing damaged auto body parts.
• Licensed to operate recovery vehicles. Spray painting, general welding, and brazing experience.
• Ability to operate mechanical, hydraulic, and metalworking equipment. Thorough knowledge of automotive industry safety specifications and regulations.

Qualifications
* Grade 12 certificate.
* Craft certificate in metal fabrication/ welding and panel beating.
* 5 years experience in a busy workshop of a transport company.
* Demonstrate initiative and problem solving abilities.
