JOB DETAILS:
• The University of Lusaka is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Pharmacist. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacist to join our dynamic team at our Institution and make a difference in the healthcare landscape of Zambia through providing excellent patient care and pharmaceutical services.

Summary of Job Responsibilities
• Dispensing and compounding medications with precision and care.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use.
• Conducting medication therapy management and patient counseling.
• Contributing to pharmaceutical research and education programs.
• Maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications
• To be considered for this position, one must have the following qualifications;
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
• Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist.
• Two (2) to Five (5) years of proven experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus
• Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and pharmacy software applications.
• Knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
