Maamba Energy Limited (MEL) is jointly owned by Nava Bharat Singapore Pte. Limited and ZCCM-IH pic. The Company owns and operates a large-scale coal mine and has also constructed and operates a 300 Mega Watt Coal fired Power Plant to cater for the growing demand for power in Zambia.

The Company runs Maamba Private School which is looking for a Physical Education Teacher. The successful candidate must enjoy working with children and be devoted to building a nurturing and safe learning environment.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop physical abilities and healthy habits that will benefit them throughout their lives. Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to enhance students’ physical abilities.
• Instruct students in physical fitness, sports, and various physical activities.
• Organize and supervise co-curricular programs within the school.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster teamwork and promote physical activity among students.

Requirements:
• Grade 12 Certificate with 5 ‘O’ level Credits or better.
• Diploma in Physical Education from a recognized institution; a degree is an added advantage.
• Accreditation with the Teaching Council of Zambia and a valid practicing license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching Physical Education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Level of Education: Associate Degree
