Career Opportunities
The School of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Lusaka is inviting qualified candidates who have a passion for Physics to fill a lecturing position on full time basis in the respective course;

Basic Requirements
-An earned Bachelors of Science or Bachelors of Science in Education Degree in Physics with at least a Merit from a reputable and accredited University.
-An earned Master of Science Degree in Physics from a reputable and accredited University.
-A PhD in Physics will be an added advantage.
-Grade 12 Certificate with Five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics.
-Two to three (2-3) years teaching/research experience.
-A fully paid up member of a relevant profession body with a valid practicing license.
-A Certificate, Diploma in Teaching/Lecturing Methodology or Degree in Education.
-Previous experience at a Secondary School or College will be an added advantage.

Summary of Job Responsibilities
-Teach the assigned courses.
-Develop as well as improve course outlines and teaching materials for the assigned courses.
-Facilitate discussions and hands on laboratory sessions.
-Prepare lesson plans at the start of each semester for the assigned courses.

-Self-motivated and resourceful with strong intellectual ability.
-Ability to research and create new knowledge.
-Should be a goal getter and a team player.
