JOB DETAILS:
Principal Responsibilities:
• Lay out artwork, text and images according to a design plan
• Use desktop publishing software, such as Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, to lay out pages
• Digitally scan images and add them to the page or document
• Detouch colour and ensure overall accuracy of the document
• Create sample proofs and send them to customers
• Prepare and check film or digital outputs
• Get items ready for the printing process
• Transfer images from film onto printing plates (known as platemaking), sometimes using computer controlled equipment.
Secondary Responsibilities:
• Graphic Design for promotional materials such as graphics, brochures and advertisements.

• Solid communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks when required
• Ability to perform well under pressure
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical and reasoning capabilities to anticipate and identify printing issues related to design and pre-press.
