JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for a Principal or Lead Engineer to join our team in Kitwe, Zambia.
Minimum Requirements:
• BSc Civil Eng Degree
• MSc Eng (advantageous)
• Registered with an Engineering Body (EIZ, ECSA, ICE) as a professional engineer
• More than 15 years’ experience in a civil engineering industry, with mining experience as an advantage.
• Experience in handling large civil / water / power infrastructure / mining projects

Key Responsibilities:
• Good project management skills
• Experience in managing people and/or medium sized teams
• Good contract law experience (FIDIC etc.)
• Managing of project finances
• Travel within Zambia and to project locations from time to time
• Networking and managing business development initiatives as the person will be expected to procure new projects
• Technical work on projects as well as review of work of others in a mentoring role
• A good command of the English language
