JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for a suitably qualified candidate to fill in the new position of Procurement Officer/Expeditor, on a one year fixed term contract.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Update due dates in the system.
• Follow up with items being GRV’d.
• Amend orders with issues that prevent GRV’ing.
• Capture all pre-alerts for international PO’s.
• Update international orders and liaise with consolidator.
• Follow up prepayments on international orders with vendors.
• Follow up invoices on deliveries that were delivered with delivery notes.
• Cancelling of orders
• Follow up POD’s
• Arranging collections/deliveries
• General procurement

QUALIFICATIONS
• Diploma in purchasing and supply from a recognized learning institution
• Minimum 5 years experience in an expediting/logistics role
• Must be a paid up member of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply


Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Associate Degree
