• Job Description:
As a Procurement Specialist at Good Time Steel, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. You will work closely with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with internal teams to support our operational goals. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and success of our supply chain.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services
– Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct negotiations, and establish strong relationships with key vendors
– Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
– Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and reliability
– Analyze market trends and conditions to identify potential opportunities and risks in the supply chain
– Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to align procurement activities with business needs
– Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements
– Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
– Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement and supply chain activities

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Supply / Logistics.
– 5 years and above of proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role
– Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
– Proficiency in procurement software and tools
– Knowledge of procurement best practices and market trends
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
– Speaking and writing in Chinese language will be added advantage.
