JOB DETAILS:
Position: Production Supervisor
Business: Olives Only Trading Limited
Work-level: Junior Management
Location: Kabwe, Zambia
Reports to: Production Manager
Job purpose
Production supervisor will report to the Production Manager; he/she will play a critical role in day-to-day operation of the entire production line. Job responsibilities include the control of manpower, machine-manpower utilization, maintaining hygiene on the shop floor, ensuring quality of production, sanitization, and bulk loading, and unloading of the raw and finished materials. .

Key responsibilities
• Monitor and control of manpower to ensure efficient production planning.
• Plan and supervise the utilization of manpower.
• Maintain clean safe equipment as well as work area.
• Maintain high levels of hygiene in the plant as per company policy.
• Control quality of products including batch code, the weight of the product, wastage control, etc.
• Manage all the inventory control of the shop floor.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office and excel.
• Maintain Food safety, personnel hygiene, and PPE for all staff.
• Keep accurate records of production data.
• Coordinate day to day production in liaison with the production manager for optimized machine utilization.
• Motivate teamwork to increase the efficiency of Man and Machine.
• Ensure that the plant is always Sanitized.

Key Qualifications & Requirements
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years, preferably in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry.
• Education Level: Grade 12 certificates,
• Qualifications: Diploma in Production Management, Degree will be an added advantage.

Skills:
• Good Command in English Language, Nyanja, and Bemba
• Abilities: proven abilities of a quality supervisor background.
• Personality: Self-motivated, Completing tasks on time.
• Competence: Knowledge in MS Office, Excel

Level of Education: Associate Degree
