Program Coordinator
Position Overview:
The purpose of this role is to restore the lives of prisoners, their families, and victims in the Africa Region through a network of PFI ministry partners. The regional coordinator will work under the direction of the Regional Director to implement and monitor program and capacity building partnerships with our national ministries (NMs) in the region according to PFI standards. The coordinator will also support the regional director to coordinate other activities that promote the measurable growth of the movement across the region in terms of capacity, market reach and market penetration.
Core Responsibilities:
Coordinate Program Partnerships according to program standards:
• Coordinate collection and review of documentation required for quarterly and annual reviews of PFI’s programs.
• Coordinate onsite reviews and virtual meetings.
• Provide technical support to NMs.
• Identify and share best practices to NMs.
• Support RD to identify and assess suitable NMs for partnership pipeline.
• Support new program partners in all aspects of program preparation and implementation.
Coordinate Capacity Building Partnerships:
• Coordinate virtual and onsite capacity reviews of NMs
• Coordinate collection and review of documentation associated with partnership implementation.
• Support RD to identify and assess suitable NMs for capacity building partnerships.
• Coordinate regional forum preparation and implementation.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to learn and integrate new ideas and methods into practice
• Digitally proficient (Technically adept; comfortable learning new software)

• Innovative
• Friendly, professional, and helpful attitude; a self-motivated, coachable team player
• Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills
• Fluency in French and English is required.
• Available for regional and international travel.
• Willing to work flexible hours to accommodate time-zones in other regions where PF staff and contractors are based.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or suitable higher education
• Proficiency in using digital technology including Microsoft Suite, video conferencing, and project management tools (access to reliable internet infrastructure required).
• Experience working in a regional/or international environment or working with diverse business partners.
