JOB DETAILS:
Cheshire Homes Society of Zambia (CHSZ) with funding from Christian Blind Mission (CBM) will be implementing a 4 year project in 3 districts of Lusaka province (Lusaka, Kafue and Chongwe) entitled: “Inclusion of children with neurodevelopmental disabilities”.

CHSZ is therefore looking for skilled Driver.
The Project is funded by the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through CBM.
The consortium is composed of CHSZ CBID Programme (lead partner), Archie Hinchcliffe Disability Initiative (AHDI) and Zambia Association for Parents of Children with Disabilities (ZAPCD).
The project will lead to improved medical and rehabilitation services and home-based care for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities in the 3 districts of Lusaka Province.
Project Driver

Job Description
Job title: Project Driver
Reporting to: Project Manager (working closely with the CBID Logistics Officer)
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Purpose of the Job
• Provide safe and timely project transportation
• Maintain project vehicles in roadworthy condition
• Ensure project vehicles are insured, licensed and fit for use
• Monitor fuel consumption to ensure efficient usage (e.g. logbook, passenger book)

Person Specification
Essential Qualifications:
• Secondary School Certificate
• Valid driver’s license (minimum “C” class)
• Minimum 3 years driving experience

Other essential requirements:
• Excellent and demonstrated ability to prepare required written reports (e.g. logbook, passenger book)
• Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision and work under time pressure and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated record of safe driving
• Good interpersonal skills; customer oriented; team player
• Accountable
