JOB DETAILS:
Zambia Impact Network Limited (ZINL) works with the Ministry of General Education in its efforts to achieve universal primary education. Founded in 2009, ZINL is a Zambia-based non-profit organization that is working to improve the quality of education in Zambian community schools. Responsibilities and Expectations:
• Implementing and monitor assigned projects
• Balance time between the field and the office
• Develop project workplans
• Manage all staff working on assigned projects
• Actively participate in project events such as community meetings
• Budget for all project activities and request for funds in good time
• Submit financial reports on regular basis as per project requirement
• Plan for all field work trips in good time and ensure all logistics are well arranged
• Help improve methods of project initiation, execution and delivery
• Ensure comprehensive documentation is maintained for projects including meeting minutes and correspondence.
• Provide narrative of project progress on regular basis and as per project requirement
• Monitor projects progress using available tools including timeline, milestone tracker and photographic evidence
• Coordinate exchanges with all project stake holders
• Undertake other tasks as and when necessary
Requirements:
• Candidates should have a relevant university degree in with at least 1 year of applicable work experience
• Excellent organizational and report writing skills
• High competency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Cinyanja, both written and verbal.
• Experienced in working within a target driven environment.
• Thoroughness, accuracy and attention to detail when accomplishing all tasks.
• Exceptionally organized with strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Punctuality, reliability and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong inter-personal skills
• Understanding of Child Protection and Safeguarding
This position is based in Katete, Eastern Province occasional travel to sites in Sinda, Petauke & Lusangazi.
Compensation is based on education, experience and suitability for the role.
