JOB DETAILS:
Duties
• The position serves as the subject matter expert and CDC Zambia point of contact for all TB/HIV activities within their respective province for the entire TB/HIV continuum of care including for Priority Population (PP) and Key Population (KP), Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC), Cervical Cancer, HIV Testing Services (HTS), Elimination of Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV (eMTCT), Tuberculosis (TB) and Antiretroviral Treatment (ART). The incumbent will provide technical support and oversight for clinical services within the province and will be responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, coordinating and monitoring agency results and program activities conducted in collaboration with various levels of public health stakeholders and including the District Mentors. The position is located in the Program Section of CDC and is based in the 4 Provincial centers of CDC reporting to the Prevention Care and Treatment Branch Chief.

Qualifications and Evaluations
• Requirements:
• EXPERIENCE: Five years work experience in management and implementation of health programs with a focus on HIV is required. This work experience should include supervisory and facilitation/training experience.
• JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have in-depth understanding of the health system especially for HIV management from MOH, PHO, District and Facility level and how this system interacts with PEPFAR systems. Knowledge or experience working with PEPFAR programs must in Zambia. The successful candidate must have in depth knowledge of the Country’s progress towards 90 90 90 and any remaining targets and the challenges associated with meeting these goals and targets. Must have good medical, managerial and inter-personal skills.

Education Requirements:
• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBchB) with a Masters in Public Health is required. Post graduate training in HIV is also required.
• Evaluations:
• LANGUAGE: Fluent English Reading/Writing/Speaking is required. (English language proficiency may be tested).
Limited Knowledge in a relevant Language (e.g. Nyanja in Eastern Province) local language Reading/Writing/Speaking is required.SKILLS AND ABILITIES Good Computer skills in Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Internet, Presentation and facilitation/training skills are required. The ability to interact with colleagues/peers and MOH level staff to be able to influence policy and implementation in support of PEPFAR goals.
