JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking a talented and experienced female Public Relations Officer to join our project. As the public relations officer, you will play an important role in building relationships with public institutions and other stakeholders. You will be lead coordinator of all planned projects. You will develop and execute public relations strategies to create positive media coverage and enhance our endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the project’s image and reputation.
• Develop relations with local communities and stakeholders.
• Manage all events/projects.
• Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication material.
• Track and analyze PR metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication endeavors.

Qualifications and experience
• Degree in Mass communication, Public Administration, Journalism
• Proven experience in Public Relations, with a track record of managing successful PR campaigns.
• Ability to network and create strong relationships with public institutions and other stakeholders.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.

Knowledge and skills:
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Able to work well with a team and under pressure.
• Good presentation skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Must be familiar with Lusaka city.
• Background in environmental or agricultural projects will be an advantage.
• Project management/event management
• Good people skills
• Highly organized individual
• Knowledge of Bemba, Chewa, or Nyanja
