JOB DETAILS:
About the role
• Burn is looking for a Quality Team Leader in Zambia who will be tasked with overseeing the quality control processes along the assembly line, encompassing incoming raw materials, in-process checks, and finished goods.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Measure and analyse quality in the assembly line, including:
• incoming quality control on raw materials, products, and kits
• finished goods quality control.
• in-process quality control
• Ensure all standard operating procedures are always adhered to on the assembly floor.
• Hire and train a team of casuals on their daily tasks and workstation allocation.
• Generate and share daily and monthly assembly and quality reports including corrective actions.
• Oversee any rework required on the electric cookers and cookware.
• Ensure proper segregation of defective products and proper disposition of the same.
• Visiting local supplier facilities and observing the manufacturing environment to review and assess their procedures.
• Facilitate communication with local suppliers when supplies don’t meet quality standards.
• Ensure all safety protocols are observed on the assembly floor.

Skills and Experience:
• Diploma in Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of experience.
• Great Leadership skills
• MS Office skills – Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Attentive and with a keen eye for detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
