JOB DETAILS:
The position reports to the Inventory Operations Controller.
Key Performance Areas
• Accountable for the receiving of all materials obtained from suppliers by the stores are of the correct quantity, quality and specification as requested.
• Process receiving transactions and investigate/resolve queries where required.
• Forward completed supplier documents for goods received to Accounts for payment.
• Should discrepancies be identified, partner with requisitioners and purchasing team to inspect quality of products and initiate returns process.
• Plan and coordinate staff to offload trucks and other deliveries to stores.
• Promote and adhere to Illovo’s procedures, policies, and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, Competition Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).

Minimum specifications / Requirements areas
• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Diploma in Purchasing and Supply/ ZIPS/ CIPS / Business Administration/Management or equivalent.
• 1-2 years’ experience in similar role (experience in general stores will be an added advantage)
• Strong communication skills with experience in engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Computer literate
• Strong numerical and analytical skills. Working knowledge of Inventory technology systems advantageous.
• Member of Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS)
