ABOUT MARSHLANDS PLEASURE RESORT T/A COMFORT LODGE
This lodge features outdoor events like kitchen parties, weddings, birthday parties etc, a restaurant/matebeto, conference facility and a poolside bar. Free English breakfast, free WiFi in public areas, and free self-parking are also provided. Additionally, dry cleaning, and a garden are onsite. All individually decorated rooms feature private yards. For a bit of entertainment, LCD TVs come with satellite channels, and guests can also appreciate conveniences like refrigerators and electric kettles.
Comfort Lodge offers air-conditioned accommodations with complimentary toiletries. Housekeeping is provided daily. Hold your corporate functions such as conferences, workshops, etc.
Receptionist
JOB PURPOSE;
The receptionist will take welcome customers to the lodge and attend to the customers’ business needs. Always aware of customer satisfaction to deliver the perfect service experience. Ensure high quality of service to customers. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: servicing the Guest in a friendly, efficient manner while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Guests must feel welcome, comfortable and well attended to at all times .

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Attending to all walk-in clients
• Raising of invoices and sales orders
• Handling of Cash and handover to accounts daily
• Prepare daily reports as required
• Perform daily Lodge and record such calls
• Keeping the reception area clean and well presentable
• Receiving and forwarding incoming calls
• Ensure that logs books of parcel, complaints, staff movements are always up to date
• Ensure that customer complaints are attended to by the relevant people.
• Ensuring customer policies are adhered to.

ATTRIBUTES
• Must be able to work under minimum supervision, work independently and have good interpersonal and people management skill.
• Must be a team player
• Must be able to achieve targets under minimum supervision

QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have a Diploma in office Management, Diploma in Marketing or Business
• Management or Equivalent with 2 years working experience in a related field.
• Must be computer Literate in MS Office, Excel.
• Must have a clear criminal and credit record.

EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 3 years of work in a reputable organization in the Hospitality industry is a MUST.
• Must be fluent in English.
