JOB DETAILS:
LOCATION: EASTERN PROVINCE, ZAMBIA
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Regional Coordinator will be based in the regional office and will provide assistance and support to the Regional Advisor in the discharge of his/her responsibilities. The Regional Coordinator will have duties related to office administration, program implementation and medical commodities supply chain management and stock control mechanisms. The Regional Coordinator will initiate procurement processes for purchases that will be decentralized to the regions. .
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative
• Ensuring cleanliness of office space and surroundings.
• Ensuring availability and stock management of office supplies.
• Ensuring record keeping and that documentation systems are in place.
• Ensuring continuity of office operations in the absence of the regional advisor
• Ensuring coordination with the Administrative Assistant based at the country office in Lusaka.
2. Programmatic
• Act as the first point of contact with providers and facility managers.
• Provide coordination for trainings conducted in the region.
• Ensuring advance preparations for monitoring and supportive supervision visits in the region,
• Participating in monitoring and supportive supervision visits.
3. Stock management
• Being the first point of contact for providers and facilities on MA drugs and other medical Supplies request
• Ensuring adequate documentation for MA drugs movement as per stock management standards.
• Maintaining documentation for easy traceability of medical supplies.
• Performing all duties as assigned by the supervisor and Country Director

Minimum Requirements for Position:
• Diploma in Clinical Medicine or Nursing.
• Degree in Health-related fields provide an added advantage.
• 3-5 years of experience in the health or medical field required.
• Fast experience in reproductive health projects at subnational, facility and community levels.
• Must work well in a multicultural environment Ability to analyse and prepare reports
• Ability to travel 60%
Preferred Requirements:
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Experience working in a non-profit organization
• Project and budget management experience
• Past experience with Ministry of Health at country, district, and provincial level
Job Education Requirements: Diploma in Clinical Medicine or Nursing
