JOB DETAILS:
Role And ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources
• Manage team of field agents.
• Work closely with project partner agents.
• Identify talent pool for potential hires and ensure contracts are signed once agents are engaged.
• Tracking field agent performance and providing solutions to improve performance.
• Re-training agents as part of talent improvement strategy

Sales
• Responsible for product sales for lights in designated region.
• Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Helping determine pricing schedules for promotions, and negotiations.
• Prepare weekly, monthly work plan with sales forecast.
• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Share weekly cash status from agent collections.
• Monitor and enforce cash management.

Data Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)
• Ensure complete capture of sales data at point of sale as stipulated the company.
• Ensure correct data is captured by sales agent as stipulated by the company.
• Provide local assistance to troubleshoot and report back to the Aftersales Manager on solar lights that require repair or replacement and that are under warranty.
• Provide records of lights repaired or replaced and what their faults were.

Logistics
• Managing inventory at regional level.
• Responsible for Identifying and Securing local warehouse/storage.
• Assist in Coordinating transportation of product units to sales points.
• Share bi-weekly stock count.

After-Sales Services
• Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
• Training after-sales agents
• Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs in relation to aftersales
• Reporting on successes and areas needing improvement.
• Support daily sales surveys and monthly internal audits.
• Provide local assistance to troubleshoot and report back to Lusaka Office those solar lights that require repair or replacement and that are under warranty.
• Coordinate with Local Partner for the replacement or repair of lights.
• In collaboration with the Local Partner, develop and implement strategies to accelerate and scale up the distribution and uptake of solar lights by end users.
• Coordinate the collection of worn-out lights for recycling/safe disposal on a weekly basis.

Skills And Experience
• Degree in a subject such as business management, marketing, business administration or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated experience managing and delivering projects in the field
• Evidenced experience of successfully developing business and / or sales in rural areas
• Ability to manage, motivate and lead teams
• Effective communicator, with the ability to influence direct reports and leadership to achieve effective outcomes
• Community engagement
• A keen and effective problem solver

Additional Skills
• Effective coaching or teaching skills to build capacity of our sales agents
• Computer literacy/Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package
• Logistics and Inventory Management
