Relationship Officer
Description:
Reporting into the Head Digital, the Relationship Officer Agency Banking role include examining outlet locations for selection of prospective agent’s outlet, preparing prospective agent applicant list and aiding in the selection process of agents ensuring compliance of prospective Agents/Network Managers for Ecobank Zambia within the area of jurisdiction.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and recruit potential Agent providers to meet Ecobank’s Agency Banking Network objectives.
2. Maintain and manage the activities of agents and Network managers
3. Aid in selection of prospective outlet locations that comply with both regulatory and strategic business requirements
4. Assist in positioning of the digital channels business as a central manufacturing organisation in order to ensure standardization, leverage scale and speed to market across the country
5. Assist to develop and optimise the digital channels operating models in line with market and growth opportunities
6. Co-ordinate training for agents and partners
7. Assist in formulation of expansion strategies
8. Coordinate communication and manage issues in respect of agents and partners to ensure that they are resolved
9. Support in infrastructure, branding and inauguration of agent outlets
10. Co-ordinate all promotion activities including agreed marketing activities and branding of Agents location to create product awareness and drive transaction numbers
11. Ensure processes and procedures are adhered to at the agents location
12. This role is also responsible for preparing and verifying agent documentation and assisting in infrastructure developing, branding and inauguration of new agent outlet
13. Work with the business development team to ensure that agents are paid on time

Experience & Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business, products and channel management
• Graduate with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree
• Experience in e-Banking products and channels, handling industry legal, regulatory and compliance matters
• Ready to travel round business locations for assessment and hands on coaching
• Fluent in English
