The Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development now Requests for Proposals (RFP), from eligible consulting firms with expertise in database development with the view of delivering a cost-effective National Housing Information Management System.

Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Request for Proposal document from The Head of Procurement and Supplies Unit, Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure Development, P. O. Box 50235, Lusaka, Zambia. The telephone number is 260-211-251726 and the Telefax number is 260-211-251099.

A complete set of Request for Proposal documents in English can be obtained from Procurement and Supplies Unit, Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development upon payment of a non- refundable fee of K500.00 in cash or bank certified cheque payable to accounts Unit at the Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development.

The Proposals shall be valid for a period of 90 days after Bid opening.

Submission Procedure

Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Consultants contained in the Request for Proposals. All Bids, clearly marked "REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR NATIONAL HOUSING INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM"

A firm will be selected under Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) procedures and in a Full Technical Proposal (FTP) format as described in the RFP.

The Technical and Financial Proposals must be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Procurement and Supplies Unit, Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development. Lusaka situated along United Nations Avenue, opposite ZICTA on or before 30" December, 2022 at 10:30hrs local time. Bids will be opened soon after closing at Procurement and Supplies Offices at the Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development, in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend. LATE, FAXED or ELECTRONIC PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
