Good Neighbors Zambia invites potential vendors to express their interest to supply and deliver 120 two-seater desks with a bookshelf. GNZ is seeking a responsive, reliable, and competent Vendor to supply to Makanda Primary School in Mumbwa District.

1.      WOODEN COMPONENT TOP AND SEAT

a)      Desktop: 1150×250× Minimum 25mm Hardwood timber (Mukwa) or MDF 22mm thick

b)     Desk seat: 1150×250× Minimum 25mm Hardwood timber (Mukwa) or MDF 22mm thick

c)      Pencil and pen holder groove-16mm wide and 5mm deep

d)     All wooden joints to be dovetailed tongue and groove

e)      Wood polished with 2No. Coats of clear varnish

f)      Shelf, 1010×200× Minimum 25mm hardwood timber (Mukwa) or MDF 22mm thick

g)     Space between writing top and top of a shelf to be 150mm supported by a brace on each frame and Bolted nut.

2. STEEL COMPONENTS – FRAMES, SUPPORT PIPES AND BRACES

a) Overall size of 2No. Steel frames are 715mm long × 600mm high

b) All steel tubes of the frame to be 20mm×20mm square or 20mm diameter, 1.5mm minimum wall thickness

c) Frame to be welded in 2/3mm on joints and covered with rust-free paint

d) Front brace to support rear of steel frame – 15mm diameter tube 1.5mm minimum wall thickness, 1400mm long

f) All steel components to be primed and painted with 2No. Coats of spray gloss painted grey/blue color

3. ASSEMBLY COMPONENT

a) Desk top fixed to frame with 4No. M6×75mm bolts and nuts; with M6 nut permanently secured

b) Seat-fixed to frame with 4No. M6×75mm bolts and nuts with M6 nuts must be permanently secured by bending the bolt or secured some other way.

Your quotation should clearly indicate the following:

1.              Price per unit and total price in Kwacha

2.              Value-added tax (VAT) should be shown separately

3.              Delivery period two weeks after issue of order

4.              Price validity period shall be not less than 30 days upon issue of order

5.              Send samples

Prospective Bidders should provide the following documentation:

• Company Profile
• ZPPA Registration
• Company registration certificate
• VAT Tax Registration /Clearance

• The applicant/supplier should have no pending litigation status that would negatively affect this contract.
