JOB DETAILS:
Terms of reference
• Research Assistants are expected to work closely with research investigators assigned to a specific project. The following general tasks are to be undertaken by the research assistants:
• Participate in data collection training prior to field data collection.
Collect quantitative data by use of Kobo collect tool
Document stories and take informative pictures during data collection and present stories as notes.
During data collection, document challenges, strengths, opportunities and lessons.
Work closely with supervisors during data collection and provide timely feedback on the tool.
Any other related task as may arise during data collection

Requirements
• Individuals who have sufficient capacities and experience must have a minimum of the following qualifications:
• A degree or diploma and experience working in any of the following sectors: agriculture/ aquaculture/ Health/Education.
Experience in quantitative data collection using kobo collect tool.
Experience of documenting stories during data collection
Fluent in at least three Zambian local languages ( Bemba, Kaonde, Lozi, Lunda, Luvale, Nyanja and Tonga)
Proven competency in quantitative data collection in rural setup in Zambia.
Ability to work with diverse teams
