JOB DETAILS:
The Zambia Law Development Commission (ZLDC) is a statutory body established under the Zambia Law Development Commission Act No. 11 of 1996, Chapter 32 of the Laws of Zambia. The Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified Zambians to fill the above vacant position
SALARY GRADE: ZLDC/4
Job Purpose: To undertake legal research functions in order to facilitate the development and reformation of Zambian Laws.

QUALIFICATION
• Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate
• LLB Degree

KEY RESULT AREA PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Research
Undertakes effectively legal research duties in order to facilitate decision-making and Law Reform
Dissemination
Undertakes effective dissemination of information on law reform programmes in order to create awareness
Legislation
Undertakes the timely preparation of Layman’s Bills and statutory instruments in order to facilitate enactment and publication
Legal Opinions
Undertakes timely provision of legal opinions in order to facilitate the Commission’s compliance with the Law.
