JOB DETAILS:
Rapid Grill n’ Coffee is opening soon and as we will be opening new outlet in Lusaka Ibex. We continue our organic growth by constantly developing our approach and learning as we expand.
The Restaurant Manager will have to plan, organize, direct and control the daily business running of the outlet to the satisfaction of the customers and ensure that sales are maximized, budgets are achieved and integrity is maintained, set housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained, and targeted profitability is achieved.

Key responsibilities- include,
-Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.
-Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
-Design exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements
-Identify customers needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
-Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
-Establish targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies and procedures.
-Provide a two way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork
-Comply with all health and safety regulations
-Report on management regarding sales results and productivity.
– Requirements and skills
-Proven food and beverage management experience and stock controls
-Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
-Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
-Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
-Communication and leadership skills
-Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices
-Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
-Customer-oriented and service-minded

Skills and Qualifications:
• GCE O’Level Certificate
Advanced Diploma or Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management/Hospitality Management/Food production or Related Field
Hotel and Catering Certificate or Diploma is an added advantage
At least two years’ experience in the hospitality industry
Highly focused, result driven and outstanding organisational skills.
A drivers licence is an added advantage.
