LuNa Smelter Ltd is Rwanda’s newly established tin smelter in Kigali Rwanda. Ngali Holdings Ltd and Luma Investment S.A as shareholders. As part of its optimization and localization plans the company is recruiting professionals to fully optimize its production capacity and hence cater for the country’s growing demand for the mining sector, and that of the region.
LuNa Smelter Ltd is looking for experienced professionals to fill the following vacancy:
Rolling Lift
Reporting to: Furnace Manager/Chemist
Qualification and Responsibilities
- Certified EOT Crane Operator
- Knowledge of the equipment to provide feedback to the maintenance team
- Responsible for the safe operation of the Overhead Crane. Responsible for the workmen safety in the hot and low visible environment
- Able to avoid accidents handling hot metal and slag
- 3 – 5-year experience in heavy industry operating EOT crane
- Ability to work in shift
